Who we are
EmailEQ is operated by Four Peel Banana LLC, doing business as EmailEQ ("EmailEQ", "we", "us"). These terms cover the EmailEQ shopper app at app.emaileq.com, the addresses we give you, this website and anything else we offer shoppers. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
Who can use EmailEQ
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is older. EmailEQ is invite-only for now, and an invite is for the person it was sent to. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for everything done with your account.
One account per person
Each person may have only one EmailEQ account. Creating or using more than one account, whether with different sign-in emails, other people's invites or on someone else's behalf, is a violation of these terms. If we find more than one account for the same person, we may suspend some or all of them.
Acceptable use
EmailEQ exists to collect marketing email from retail brands and turn it into deals for you. It is not a disposable, throwaway or anonymous email address service. You agree not to:
- Use your EmailEQ addresses for anything other than receiving marketing and order email from retail brands.
- Use an address to sign up for, verify or receive mail from services that aren't retail brands, such as social networks, forums, dating sites, games, banks, other email services or personal contacts.
- Have people send you personal mail, or give an address out to anyone other than a brand.
- Hand out addresses to get around a brand's limits, rules or bans.
- Create addresses in bulk, use scripts or automation to create or use addresses, or resell or share access to the service.
- Send or route spam, phishing, malware or illegal content through EmailEQ.
- Try to get into other people's accounts or data, probe or overload our systems, or get around any limit or security measure.
- Use EmailEQ in any way that breaks the law or a brand's own terms.
We decide what counts as abuse of the service. That includes anything on this list and anything else we reasonably believe harms EmailEQ, the brands that send to it, or other members.
Mail we accept
We only accept mail from domains that send retail deals and order updates. Mail from other senders, including personal and consumer email providers (such as Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo addresses), forums, communities, social networks and other non-retail services, may be rejected without notice and isn't stored as yours. If an address keeps receiving mail like that, we may switch it off.
Sign-up offers
Many brands give a one-time welcome discount or sign-up bonus to new subscribers. Using EmailEQ to receive that kind of offer from the same brand again and again, for example by creating new addresses for a brand you already follow, is a violation of these terms. One address per brand is the intended use.
Suspension and termination
If we believe you've broken these terms or abused the service, we may, at our discretion and without notice, switch off addresses, reject mail, limit features, or suspend or close your account. We may also refuse or cancel an invite. You can stop using EmailEQ and delete your account at any time from the Account page. If you think we got it wrong, write to us at the address below.
AI agents and access keys
If you connect an AI assistant or create an access key, you're responsible for what is done with it, and for keeping keys private. Agent access is for your own personal use. Don't use it to scrape, collect or resell EmailEQ data, or to give anyone else access to your account. We may limit or revoke agent access that we believe is being abused.
Brands and their offers
Deals come from brands' own emails and offers. We read them automatically and may get details wrong, and brands can change or end an offer at any time. Each brand decides whether to honor its offers, and anything you buy is between you and that brand, under its terms. Links in EmailEQ go to the brand's own site.
Disclaimers
EmailEQ is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that the service will always be available, error-free or that every email or deal will be captured or read correctly. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, EmailEQ isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or savings, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you by email before they take effect. Using EmailEQ after a change means you accept the new terms.
